Rice Community in ATACORA ( Natitingou ), partner of NECOFA BENIN (l + r)

This women group is located in the mountainous area in the North of Benin. Those women are processing and selling local rice. This rice undergoes a special process that increases its content of micronutrients, vitamin B1, and mineral salts. It is left to soak in water for 24 hour, boiled, dried and then bleached traditionally. It is a parboiled rice.
